David Goodfellow has lived in the Bridgeport area all of his life. He has worked at Electric Maintenance since 1975 and started by painting and working in the Shipping/Receiving Department. He moved to the Sales Dept. after a few years and in the early 80’s began working with the Dynamatic line, learning from a pro, Mr. Rod Burr. Rod was diligent in teaching David all he could about the Dynamatic line for which David is eternally grateful. He continues selling Dynamatic, Dynacorp and other products.
David enjoys reading, especially historical novels and biographies. He’s interested in US history and lately the Constitution era and the Civil War era have captured his interest and imagination. His family and friends are very important to him, and he spends time with them often. He is also an avid fan of college basketball and of course his favorites – the UConn Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. Go Huskies!
R. Scott Goodfellow lived in the Fairfield/Bridgeport/Stratford area all his life. Scott attended Monmouth College in NJ, majoring in Business Administration/Accounting. He also was very active in the college radio station as a disk jockey and program director.
Scott joined EMS in 1973 working summers and vacations cleaning motor parts, doing janitorial work and being the fill-in as a night-watchman. Eventually he migrated into the office working in every department.. His main focus was inventory control, purchasing and sales. By 1978 his dad Robert Goodfellow bought the company giving Scott more responsibilities.
Scott is married to Margie and they work well together to run a successful business. Scott enjoys hiking, computers, music, driving, history, especially WWII and taking vacations with his wife. He also enjoys volunteering at the Church.
Margie has joined the EMS family and has extensive experience in customer service. She is our all-around Renaissance woman. If you have any questions regarding billing, payments or other Accounting matters this is the lady to contact. Her main goal is to make sure customers concerns are taken care of in a timely, efficient and customer friendly manner. Her commitment to EMS is of utmost importance which shows by her dedication in going above and beyond to satisfy each and every customer. She is a member of the Goodfellow family and is married to Scott Goodfellow who is Treasurer of EMS.
When Margie is not working she enjoys nature and is environmentally conscientious. She is a music lover, enjoys decorating, is an avid reader and a connoisseur of tea. Her love of all animals is demonstrated by her involvement with the Beardsley Park Zoo which runs a Pet Adoption Day every year and can be linked to on the EMS website.
